Dear Parents:

     The days are quickly slipping away.  Where has this year gone?  I wanted to invite all parents, grandparents, and guardians to eat lunch with us Thursday.  We do this to honor mothers for Mother’s Day and also our fathers.  Father’s Day is during the summer, and we want to include our father as well.  Come and eat with us at 11:00 A.M.   We regret that we cannot pay for your lunch, but we would enjoy your company.  This is an invitation for preschool parents only. 

     We have our regular 4 day week this week.  Next week on May 11, we will not have school as this is Election Day.  That will be a 3 day week.  The following week on Thursday, May 20 will be the last day for preschool.  During the morning at 9:00 A.M. we will have our recognition and awards ceremony in the room.   Families are invited to attend.

     This week our letter is Yy,  our color  is blue, our word is yes, our shape is a star, and our nursery rhyme is “The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe.”
